What is the simple start program?
There has been so many positive comments on the Weight Watchers Simple Start Menu blog post. I'm glad it's been helpful to so many. I know there are a lot of questions as well. The Simple Start menu isn't based off the regular Points Plus System. They give you a specific list of foods that you can eat all day without measuring our counting. They are your power foods. Then, they give you 7 Points Plus, so that in case you need to eat something not on the power foods list, you can count those points so you don't get off track. I know some people choose to stay on the Simple Start Menu and never switch to the Points Plus, and that's fantastic. But the program suggests you do the Simple Start for 2 weeks before switching to the Points Plus system.
How Much Weight HAve you Lost doing WW?
I lost about 20 lbs doing The Simple Start Menu and then the Points Plus System. I stopped counting points in May of 2014 when I found out I was pregnant.
How are you doing now?
After I delivered my son in January of 2015, I started a weight loss challenge with some friends and lost about 40 lbs. I gained a total of 17 lbs while I was pregnant and I checked out of the hospital about 8 lbs from pre pregnancy weight. I lost the 40 lbs by doing daily exercise and counting calories, not using the Weight Watchers program. I've maintained the 40 lbs loss and hope to lose more in the future.
