Well, it's Weigh In Wednesday again. Thankfully the last few weigh in's haven't been bad. I'm not losing weight as quickly as I would like or have hoped, but this time is about doing it right, so I'm going to stick to what I know is working (even if it is slow). I didn't weigh myself this AM, but I did weigh yesterday. The verdict was -1. I've lost a total of 13lbs since I started this most recent process and I've lost a total of 31 lbs from my highest weight. So, not a huge number, but it's still going down, so I'm pleased. Alright, so I've set 1 goal for August- to find my groove. June and July (both months since I didn't do well for like 3 weeks out of the 8) were about figuring out what works for me. I know what my calorie count needs to be and I know what exercise works for me. So, August is just about getting it done. Consistency is my goal. Exercise wise, I'm going to add some strength training in on the days I'm not running. Yoga or pilates would be good, but that might be something I do in the mornings and then I'll run and or do strength training in the afternoon or at night. I'm not going to set a weight goal because if I can be consistent in eating well and exercising, then I will lose weight. So, my goal is to be consistent in the process, not the outcome. And I'm only going to weigh myself once a week. And I'm moving my weigh in days to Friday instead of Wednesday. And the hardest one yet... I'm giving up pop. Whew. That's a lot of goals! Ok, so here's my list: 1. Staying within my 1290-1400 calorie range daily. 2. Exercising consistently- either running or strength training daily. 3. Only weigh myself 1x per week. 4. Drink no pop the month of August.
